Packaging Design
On shelf, in a transit box or behind glass at a trade show — your packaging is often the first physical thing a customer interacts with. It has to work hard. It has to stop someone, communicate clearly and make the product feel worth picking up.
We design packaging for brands that take it seriously — from early concept through to production-ready artwork, set up correctly for the print process and ready to hand straight to your supplier.
What we cover.
- Retail packaging — shelf-ready product packaging, cartons and sleeves
- Shelf-ready packaging (SRP) — designed for replenishment and retail display
- Transit and secondary packaging — corrugated, mailer and protective packaging
- Conceptual visuals and 3D mockups for presentations and ranging appointments
- Creative artworking and finished artwork production
- Pantone, digital CMYK and spot colour specification
- Flexographic print setup — including colour separation and plate-ready artwork
- Lithographic print production artwork
- CAD design and structural dielines
- Retailer submission packs and product range visuals
Set up correctly for print.
There is a significant difference between packaging that looks good in a PDF and packaging that prints correctly at scale. We have worked with lithographic and flexographic processes, understand the constraints of each and supply artwork that does not cause problems at the printer.
That means correctly built dielines, accurate colour profiles, properly separated artwork and production specifications that match your supplier’s requirements — whether you are printing in the UK or overseas.
From concept to shelf.
We can work at any stage of the process. If you are starting from scratch, we can develop the concept, the structure and the creative direction. If you have an existing design that needs adapting, extending across a range or setting up for a new format, we can work from your existing brand assets and make it consistent.
We also produce 3D renders and flat mockups for presentations, retail ranging meetings and investment pitches — so you can show buyers exactly what the finished product will look like before it goes to print.
